2017 was another wonderful year for TheraSpecs. We learned more about the ways in which light sensitivity impacts patients; we added not one, not two, but THREE new styles to our catalog (Audrey, Hudson and Keaton, if you’re keeping track); and most importantly, we helped thousands more customers get out of their respective dark rooms in order to live richer, healthier lives. Below are just a few of our favorite stories from the past year.

A Mother-Daughter TheraSpecs Journey

What started as a wonderful message from Catherine—who was getting through her work day with the help of TheraSpecs—soon morphed into a heartwarming story that included her daughter as well. "They have saved her life! She couldn't have made it though her freshman year in HS without them. We feel very fortunate to have found TheraSpecs."

Relief Between Friends

Every now and then, shorter and sweet is the way to go—no fluff necessary. After having the opportunity to try a pair of TheraSpecs from a friend, Martijn learned how valuable they can be. And he didn't need to mince words: "They work amazing!"

Meaningful Relief for a Hero

Stephen has been dealing with light sensitivity for years as result of his deployment-related head injuries. With the help of TheraSpecs, he was able to get his life back off the battlefield: "[He] started wearing them when on the computer or watching TV. Then when going to doctors appointments! Now everywhere! They have really made him a little more able to do things without being in bed for two or three days after a 10 minute trip to the store."
