Hello! My name is Seth and I ordered a pair of indoor Classic TheraSpecs glasses last September. They have helped me live my life worry free again and I am forever grateful for your company. Here is a relatively quick version of my story:

Childhood Headaches and Migraines

Throughout my childhood I would get minor headaches here and there, nothing that couldn't be solved by a couple quick ibuprofen. Every once in a while, however, I would get the most severe migraines basically without any warning. I would see some "dots" for about 30 minutes, and than within an hour of seeing my first dot my vision would be completely gone. I would than basically be paralyzed for a minimum of 4 hours. This would consist of me laying in a dark room, trying not to move so the pain wouldn't intensify anymore, and then telling my parents if I felt like this would be a trip to the emergency room migraine or one that I would just have to fight my way thru. I had my first spells in middle school, a couple thru high school, and than they seemed to be randomly spread out up until last year (I am currently 24 years old). 

Flashing lights, gymnastics, and other clues

I was a regionally touring musician for about 4 years after high school and all the loud music and strobe lights didn't seem to be what triggered any migraines. I also started coaching gymnastics when I graduated from high school and what happened was the more time I spent in gyms, the more frequently I would see the dots and get one of my horrendous headaches. Within the last couple years I became a full time gymnastics coach and now am the head coach of our high school team as well as the person in charge of our 400 kid program. None of this would have been possible however, if we didn't realize what was causing my migraines. I was starting to see the dots and get these headaches more frequently and it was affecting my ability to work.

Migraines triggered by fluorescent lights

A little over a year ago, I was in a very desperate spot and needed to find a way to fix my problem. Originally, the thought was that the seizures I had when I was 1 & 2 years old may have something to do with my severe migraines now. We then looked back at every time I had a spell and where I was at the time and this was when we realized that I was always in fluorescent lighting. I did some research and this is how I came across the TheraSpecs website! I ordered the glasses the night I found you guys, got my order right on time, and I now wear these glasses whenever I am coaching.

The TheraSpecs difference

I am now entering my 7th year coaching gymnastics, my first year as the head coach of the Brainerd Gymnastics team in Minnesota. I was a Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Assocation Coach of the Year recipient last year and am attending Bela Karolyi's World Gymnastics Camp at the US Olympic training facility in Texas next week.

If I didn't have my Theraspecs, I don't think I could have continued coaching. I am now able to coach worry free again and everything else fell into place soon after I placed my order. Your company saved my life. I am eternally grateful for this product.
